Honourable Kafilat Ogbara

The Lawmaker representing Kosofe Federal Constituency at the green chamber of the National Assembly Honourable Kafilat Ogbara has promised her constituents to expect ‘sufficient’ good governance at her installation as Omoluabi in Ikosi kingdom in Kosofe.

Newsconnect reports that the Paramount ruler of Ikosi Kingdom and the leader of all royal fathers in Kosofe Land Oba Alamu Oloyede Kehinde at his 17th coronation anniversary on the 5th of May 2024 installed Ogbara, Omoba Adeyinka Oyediran and other well meaning personalities as chiefs in his kingdom in Ikosi.

In an interview at the event after her installation, Ogbara thanked the Onikosi of Ikosi, his chiefs, and supporters for giving her the title after assessing her from distance.

In her own words, she said;

“I want to thank our paramount ruler and the leader of royal fathers in Kosofe Federal Constituency for giving me Asiwaju Omoluabi of Kosofe land. I appreciate this and I am really very honoured. I just want to say thank you to him and all the chiefs in council, all my constituents, Kosofe federal constituency, all my supporters as well, I appreciate everybody, I am just highly honoured and I feel really humbled.

“When you say somebody is Omoluabi in Yoruba land, it means the peak of good character, the peak of good things and the peak of anything good. So I don’t know people are seeing what we do. This is an inspiration for me, it will inspire me to do even more.

“I want to appreciate everybody, for being here to support me, I say a very big thank you to everybody. I want to tell all my constituents that they should be rest assured that a lot more is coming.

“Earlier this morning, we did free filling of cooking gas for all our constituents in Alapere, I was just coming from there before I came down to receive this chieftaincy title. I’ll continue to do more, I will continue to do more”. She concluded.
