The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Honourable Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe and more than two hundred happy Widows from Kosofe have expressed appreciation to NOELLA FOUNDATION for celebrating year 2024 Valentine’s day with them.
Newsconnect reports that this is the second time NOELLA FOUNDATION is coming to Kosofe to support vulnerable groups in the axis.
In an interview with Kosofe LG Chairman after the distribution of food items and cash to the widows, he said ;
“I want to thank NOELLA Foundation for this initiative of giving back to the needy. This is not the first time they are helping people in this local government. Last year around November, they gave about 2,000 bags of rice to people of this local government.
“They have come again to celebrate 2024 Valentine with the Widow of Kosofe LG. About 250 of them were beneficiaries. I want to thank the good initiative, we want more of that so our people can be happy.
“You cannot empower everybody. The most important thing is to touch as many lives as we can. As a government we will keep doing that.
“By next month we are going to empower people of Kosofe Local Government. It is a gradual process, it is not easy. We have over 550,000 people in Kosofe, so we will keep doing our best.
“Most important thing is to touch lives and that is what we have been doing. The widows should keep praying for the country. We all know the situation of the country, it is a matter of concern to all of us.
“We can’t build a house on nothing and that is the foundation President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is setting now. Yes we are feeling the impact, in another three to four months, everything will get better and we should be hopeful”. Ogunlewe asserted.

In an interview with our correspondence at the event said;
“When NOELLA FOUNDATION started bringing something to the council, I will be the first person the Chairman would call. He will tell me Mrs Edu bring 50 widow for me.
“We really appreciate what Mrs Tinubu did for us, may Almighty Allah continue to enrich her and God will continue to bless her and guide her family.
“I will like the government to empower Widows. Most of us don’t have where to stay, they are just hanging up and down. We pray for Nigeria government to be stable because Widows need help”. She said
