In order to get acquainted with
the Administration of Local Government and how its being run,the Executive Chairman,Kosofe Local Government,Barr. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe today hosted Students from Maranatha Schools on Ogudu Road.
The school organized this visit to enhance the students’ understanding of the functions and operations of the Local Government.
Commencing the excursion, students were given a guided tour of the Local Government offices by the Head of Education and Library Services,Mr.Nosiru Samsudeen where they had the opportunity to meet Local Government officials and learn about the various Departments, Units and their roles.
The tour also availed the Students the opportunity to learn the Administrative functions of these Departments and Units that makes up the Local Government Structure.
The visit also included an interactive session with the Chairman, which culminated in a Question and Answer segment. Students were able to ask questions about government activities at the Federal, State, and Local Levels, with particular focus on Local Lovernment operations.
The students were enthusiastic about the experience,with many developing a newfound interest in civic activities and Local Government processes. The Chairman emphasized the importance of understanding these functions in detail to help integrate real-world learning experiences with classroom education.
Also around at the receiving the students were the Secretary to the Local Government,Hon.Gbadebo Fatai,
the Supervisor for Education amongst others.
