The APC clearance of 2025 Chairmanship aspirant in Igbogbo Baiyeku LCDA Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) allegedly
possessing Ijede LCDA PVC to contest Council Chairman in Igbogbo baiyeku LCDA has raised serious concerns by the residents and indigenes of Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA.
This medium gathered In a twist that has sparked quiet murmurs within party lines, APC chairmanship hopeful, Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, has been officially cleared by the party’s Lagos State screening committee, but with a puzzling detail attached to his voter record.
Though Aroyewun hails from Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, but his current Permanent Voter Card (PVC) is tied to Ward J in Ijede LCDA, raising questions among party faithful about the procedural mismatch.

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, he contested for the Ikorodu Constituency II seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly through Ijede LCDA Ward, Ward J.
Since last 2022/2023 PVC Registration, no official PVC registration in Nigeria has been done or made public by INEC. So the question on the Minds of Many is; Where’s Hammed Aroyewun’s Igbogbo baiyeku LCDA’s PVC or is he holding a double voter’s cards?
Allegedly backing his bid is the revered GAC Member, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun who had openly thrown his weight behind the controversial Chairmanship aspirant in Igbogbo baiyeku LCDA.
At the time of filing this report, all efforts via calls and text to seek clarification from HOA through his personal line proved abortive.
