Honourable Sanni Ganiyu Babatunde Okanlawon
The distinguished lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency 01 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Sanni Ganiyu Babatunde Okanlawon, has congratulated Nigerian workers on this year’s International Workers’ Day celebration, acknowledging their enormous contributions to the country’s overall economic, sociopolitical, and productivity growth.
Hon. Okanlawon commended Nigerian workers for their perseverance, diligence, commitment, and productivity at all levels in spite of socioeconomic challenges, while also urging them to do more for the nation’s progress.
The lawmaker further stated that Nigeria as a nation must continue to honour and celebrate the selfless commitment of its workers, who have made significant contributions to the nation’s development and progress.
He said, “I join other well-meaning Nigerians in celebrating this day and praising the perseverance, sacrifice, commitment and hard work of our workers as well as their contributions to various facets of our country’s development. Indeed, they are our heroes and the backbone of our institutions, organizations, and our dear nation”.
“As a lawmaker in the Lagos State House of assembly, I am steadfast in my resolve to raise and support legislations that will create jobs, protect the workers and improve the work environment to the benefit of all Lagosians and in particular the good people of Kosofe 01 who have entrusted me with the mandate to represent them”.
