The Mayor of Isolo, Olasoju Adebayo has urged renowned Islamic Cleric, Proprietor of Mahad Rahmat El-Islamiyy Arabic Institute and Spiritual Head of the Quranic Group of Nigeria (QUGON), Sheik Ismail Abiodun Ishola Raji to accept the passing of his wife, Alhaja Hidayat Raji as an act of God and pray that departed Alhaja Hidayat reunites with him in Aljannah.

Olasoju’s condolences were contained in a release from his media office early this morning wherein the council boss sympathised with the erudite Islamic academician urging him to accept the rather sad occurrence in good faith and hope for a reunion with his beloved wife in paradise as promised in the Holy Quran.

“It’s indeed shocking to hear of the passing of Alhaja Hidayat – wife of our revered religious luminary and educationist, Alh. Ismail Ishola Raji. This incident, though grievous, is expectably going to be met with the strongest of absorber engendered by Baba’s devoutness and piety. This is, however, not sufficient a reason why we won’t commiserate with him at the period given the profound marital bliss noticeably found in the Ikirun, Osun state-born provision merchant while alive”.

Offering his prayers, the council boss prayed for the repose of the departed soul and the wherewithal to live with the reality of her death within her family and the circle of Muumenat (believing women) far and near.

The late Alhaja Hidayat bade the world bye on Monday 30th Sept. and has since been buried in accordance with Quranic injunctions. The 8th Day Fidau is scheduled for Tues. 8th October at N0. 2, Ilori Street, Ijegun, Lagos as reliably gathered from a family source.
