… Sets to clean up communities, markets, motorparks

As the world gears up to celebrate the world’s clean up day, Oshodi-Isolo local government has perfected plans to receive the Lagos State commissioner for the environment and water resource, Hon. Tokunbo Wahab for the exercise.

The United Nations (UN) has set aside 20th September of every year for the world clean up exercise to drive home the importance of clean environment for the well being of everyone.

This year’s exercise in Lagos State will be taking place in Oshodi as the Bada community, markets and motorparks within the local government will be clean up.

The exercise scheduled to begin by 7am at the Bada Community will be rounded up by 10 am at the newly constructed Liverpool road by the executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede.

The council boss urged all residents to brace up for the exercise and ensure its continuity.
