The Senator Representing Lagos East Senatorial District Senator Adetokunbo Mukhail Abiru had informed his constituents that President Tinubu has shouldered the responsibility abdicated by previous governments in Nigeria, hence the impact of his intervention will be appreciated more by the people as time flies.
Newsconnect reports that Abiru made this assertion at his constituency office when he gave 12000 households food items ahead 2025 Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
“One of the reason we came here is because we believe as the Festival season is approaching, we should support ourselves. We all know how the country is at the moment, it is for the good of all.
“People would say things are expensive and they will attribute the policy decision of the new government as the cause of the hike in prices of goods and services.
“What President Tinubu is doing for us we can’t appreciate it now. The responsibility abdicated by previous governments, Tinubu had confronted them.
“Those enrishing themselves through subsidy and deceiving gullible masses know themselves. If you can see, since the implementation of subsidy removal, things are beginning to take shape.
“The economy is stabilizing itself gradually and it has started giving peace of mind to business people. It gives foreign investors peace of mind and confidence to invest.
“If we can all endure it, we will all benefit in the end”. He said.
