Honourable Baruwa Sulaimon
The Honourable Councillor representing the good people of Ward F in Ojota has announced the third edition of his Skill Acquisition Program for the good people of Ojota community, as part of his continuous commitment to empowering the youths in the axis
In this phase, Baruwa said:
“I am set to sponsor another 50 young people of Ojota, providing them with enrollment forms, ID cards, and uniforms to support their journey into vocational training.
“When I began this initiative, 18 youth of Ojota benefitted in the first edition, and in the second edition, 40 youth were enrolled. These programs took place during my first term in office, and I am proud to see how far they have come.
“This effort is not just about numbers, it is about building capacity, fostering self-reliance, and ensuring that the next generation of Ojota have the tools to create opportunities for themselves. Through skill acquisition, our youth are being equipped to contribute meaningfully to the growth of our community and beyond.
“I am also glad to share that some of the participants from Ojota have already received working instruments for their acquired skills from the Lagos State Government, a clear indication that the impact of this program is gaining recognition and support.
“As I continue to invest in the future of Ojota youth, I remain steadfast in my belief that empowering them is one of the most sustainable ways to develop our community. I am ready to do more.
