So it is already one year that Comrade Fadipe Ezekiel Taiwo joined his ancestors in high heaven, it is so unfortunate that your great dream was truncated in its prime.
I recall you didn’t show any sign that you were going to give up the ghost while we were having that early morning conversation on this day December 4, 2023.
A colleague of yours who is also a Chief Press Secretary called me some hours later that you have passed away. He told me to help him confirm. I told him we are in December that his April fool joke is too expensive because we just spoke, and you didn’t sound like someone battling an ailment or suffering from an injury.
I immediately called the information department head in Kosofe at that time to confirm if the sad news is true. Lo and behold, It wasn’t an April fool, it was a sad reality that Fadipe had passed on.
At that point, I was tongue tied, I was at sea, I didn’t know the exact action to take going by our discussion that same day. Is it an accident ? No it wasn’t, the information officer said. Then what happened? hitherto, the cause of his death remain sketchy.
The part you played during the 2023 general election as a chief press Secretary in Kosofe can’t be forgotten by some of us who worked with you. You didn’t wait to enjoy the fruit of your labour in my own opinion. You didn’t wait to get your official car from your principal before your demise.
We can’t blame God for your premature exit on planet earth, however we give thanks to God because he is all knowing and the wise. Man proposes often times, while you God disposes.
I agree that Comrade Fadipe was more than a Chief Press Secretary, you were a beacon of excellence, a trusted confidant, and a true professional who embodied the highest standards of public communication.
The great moment we shared will remain indelible in my memory. To your beloved family, aged mother, brothers, sisters, friends, and associates, i extend my deepest sympathies.
On this day, I pray that God will forgive your shortcomings and grant the family you left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Sun re ooooo!!!
