The lawmaker representing Badagry Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly who serves concurrently as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House Honourable Engr Setonji David heavily feels and shows a deep sadness, sorrow and regret for the loss of Mrs Ebunola Esther Ojelabi – wife of the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Honourable Cornelius Oyefolu Ojelabi.
Setonji expressed expensive grief in his brief with his Spokesperson this afternoon. While doing this, endless tears fall as he bade a final farewell to the incomparable woman of esteemed value affectionately known as Iya Remi. The Distinguished lawmaker said that the passing of the wife of Mr Chairman will leave an unfillable void in the lives of everyone of us who loved and cherished her. The weight of her loss was deeply felt by the Deputy Chief Whip who poignantly noted, “Iya Remi, we will miss you more…” His words echo the weight of a State that has lost a pillar of strength and inspiration especially to Pastor Ojelabi.
As we mourn the loss of this remarkable woman, we remember her remarkable life and legacy. Mrs. Ojelabi was not only a devoted wife to Honourable Cornelius Oyefolu Ojelabi, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, but also a shining example of selflessness, compassion, and kindness. Her impact on the lives of those around her will be deeply missed, and her memory will live on through the countless lives she touched and the love she shared with all who knew her.
