
GCE Candidates in Agboyi-Ketu
Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area, under the leadership of Hon.(Mrs.) Adetola Adunni Abubakar, commences the screening exercise for the distribution of 300 free General Certificate of Education (GCE) forms to eligible candidates across the LCDA.
This educational support initiative which is one of the 8 Points Agenda, a flagship project of Hon. Adetola’s administration, reflects her commitment to empowering youths and ensuring access to quality education for all, regardless of socio-economic background.

The screening exercise officially began today August 15, 2025, at the Council Secretariat and it is to last till Monday,18th. The Education Department of the LCDA coordinated the screening processes and they are to ensure that forms are allocated to genuinely qualified and committed students who meet the required criteria.
The actual Distribution date of the GCE forms is scheduled for next week Wednesday 20th. Hon. Adetola Adunni Abubakar stated that the initiative is a continuous one, and it is aimed at promoting Education, which remains one of the strongest tools for social transformation.

She emphasized that supporting the students with free GCE forms, is not just to ease the financial burden on families, but also investing in the future of Agboyi-Ketu, and that no child should be denied the opportunity to achieve their academic dreams due to financial limitations.
The applicants who turned up in great numbers, were encouraged to present themselves at the screening venue at the Secretariat Hall with all necessary documents which included recent passport photographs, valid means of identification, and other requirements for the exercise.
This initiative is a people-centred program under Hon. Adetola’s administration, aimed at fostering inclusive development and equal opportunity for every resident of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA. Igba otun ti de! Joy is coming, the time is now!!
