…as he hosted a lavish celebration to mark end of service for dedicated council workers
Kosofe Local Government rolled out the red carpet on Wednesday 17th of April, 2024 to honor its 2023 batch of retirees in a grand ceremony attended by top dignitaries. The council premises played host to pump and pageantry as the creme de la creme gathered to celebrate the long service of the outgoing workers.
The highlight was the presentation of Certificates of Release by a representative of the Lagos State Head of Service. The retirees also received valuable guidance on managing their post-retirement lives through wise investments in the current economic climate.
Council Chairman Moyosore Ogunlewe represented by the Council Vice Chairman, Hon Oluwole Șosanya praised the retirees for their years of dedicated service and commitment to Kosofe Local Government. He wished them fulfilling golden years ahead as they embark on a new phase of life after giving their all to the local government.
The well-attended event was a fitting tribute to the hard work and loyalty of Kosofe’s retiring staff members and we pray the almighty grant them the health and long life to eat the fruit of their decades long labour.
