In a heartfelt demonstration of love and support for 500 widows and vulnerable members of Kosofe Communities, Mrs. Adebisi Adelabu, the General Manager, Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA) has provided monetary assistance to widows of the Local Government under the Adebisi Adelabu Foundation in conjunction with Kosofe Local Government under the leadership of Barr. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe,the Executive Chairman.

The intervention, which took place today at the Council Secretariat aims to alleviate the financial burdens
,cushion the effect of hardship faced by these women and help improve their livelihoods.

Speaking at the event, Mrs. Adelabu emphasized her commitment to uplifting widows and the vulnerables especially at this at this crucial moments noting that they often face significant challenges after the loss of their spouses. “This is not just about giving money; it is about providing hope and a sense of belonging to women who have been through tough times. We want them to know that they are not alone,” she said.

The Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe also expressed gratitude to Mrs. Adelabu for her generous contribution while highlighting the importance of such initiatives in alleviating and improving the lives of residents.

The beneficiaries on the other hand expressed deep appreciation for the financial support, which will help them meet their immediate needs and invest in small-scale businesses.

Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe in addition, reiterated his commitment to the support and empowerment of widows/ vulnerables in the Local Government.
