The Ministry of Steel Development is set to Launch a one -month comprehensive boot -camp training programme designed to enhance skills and knowledge in steel development, open to experienced  professionals and aspiring artisans.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Steel Development, Dr Chris Osa Isokpunwu revealed that the programme is focused at equipping Nigerian Youths with specialized technical skills in Welding and fabrication, Industry Foundry and Metallurgy and Instrumentation, systems control and mechanical maintenance, complemented with benefits which includes Expert training, Mentorship, Equipment support for business growth, job opportunities and sustainable livelihood.

The metals industry training is open to enthusiastic individuals aged 18-40 looking to develop their skills and expertise.

Meanwhile the deadline for this application is slated for 30th October, 2024.
