Ikorodu, Lagos — On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA received key courtesy visits and supervised urgent interventions across the LCDA.
Optimal Greening NGO Visit
The Chairman welcomed Optimal Greening, an NGO dedicated to providing drinkable water to vulnerable communities. The delegation was led by Mr. Osen Iyahen (CEO & Founder) with Princewill Dagwa (Programs Manager), Rasaq Sanni (Finance & Admin Manager), and Temilade Talabi (Marketing & Communications Manager).
They presented updates on ongoing water projects in Egirin Ekun and Isiu communities, seeking collaboration and support. The Chairman congratulated the team for their impact and assured them of his administration’s full support for sustainable development initiatives.
On-the-Spot Assessments
Earlier in the day, the Chairman visited Odogunyan Bus Stop, where a trailer had blocked the road and caused heavy traffic. He supervised its evacuation, ensuring free flow of traffic.
He also inspected Oju Emuren axis of Odogunyan, where flooding from an early morning downpour affected residents. After trekking to inspect blocked canals and drainages, he ordered immediate clearance and sympathized with affected families, while warning against construction along canal paths.
Mandate Integrity Group Visit
Later, the Chairman hosted the Mandate Integrity Group, a political association within the APC, led by Hon. Adedoyin Adeyeri, former APC Ikorodu North LGA Chairman.

The Chairman appreciated their solidarity, noting they were the first political group to pay him a post-election courtesy visit. He assured them of an inclusive government, committed to engaging all relevant organs and stakeholders within the party.
