The cliche love your neighbor as yourself was displayed at Ipakodo in Ebute-Ikorodu some days ago as Looks Clothing in its benevolence gifts free school uniforms to some students from Local Government Primary School in the axis.

Newsconnect reports that Looks clothing is a premium clothing brand which specializes in custom tailoring service, crafting bespoke garment also ready to wear of all kinds of designs and sizes.

In fulfillmemt of its cooperate social responsibility as a business outlet in Ebute-Ikorodu, Looks Clothing deliberately choose Local Government Primary School students as the beneficiary of its maiden edition.

In an interview with Newsconnect correspondence and the Managing Director of Looks Clothing Ayorinde Ojo Mathew after the Intervention, he intimated us how he identified beneficiaries and his choice of school.

“Local Government Primary school in Ipakodo is our neighbor, very close to our office. Some of the school pupils often use a passage along our factory as short-cut, navigating to their home to and from school.

“Frequently, I see some school pupils in weak or worn out uniform, some with open yansh as we called it back then..lol… We do amend their uniforms most times when we identify one.

“At some point, we decided to do more. We came up with a proposal and presented it to the school Head teacher. She was happy to receive our proposal.

“We setup a day to identify these pupils, took their measurements and here we are today to fulfill our promise”. He said

In their appreciation remark, Dr Owolewa M.O, who is the Assistant head teacher of local government primary school Ipakodo Ikorodu on behalf of the school administrators and parents of beneficiaries told Newsconnect that;

“I would like to appreciate God in the life of our donor. He came last year to intimate us about the Intervention. So many people have died since then. For God to have preserve him to fulfill his promise, i think we should give God the glory.

“Secondly on behalf of the school administrators and parents, we want to say thank you very much. If you look at what has happened today, you would see that the joy is written all over the faces of pupils who are the recipients.

“It shows they appreciate what Looks Clothings as given to them. It is a good job, and we look forward to more of it. The financial situation in the country is the reason why most parents are actually struggling with their children.

” It is not that they are happy seeing their children to look unkept with the school uniform, it is just that they don’t have financial capacity to get them new uniform.

“With what our donor had done today, we really appreciate and am sure their parents would appreciate too. From us here, we say God will continue to bless your purse”. He said
