The last has not been heard in the internal wranglings bedeviling Agbado Oke Odo Local Council Development area of Alimosho local government area of Lagos state as legislators in the LCDA on Wednesday passed a vote of no confidence on the Executive Chairman of the local government,Engr David Famuyiwa

The Councillors led by their leader, hon Ogunyemi Olatunji unanimously passed the negative motion on the chairman and gave reasons for their actions

Among the offences leveled against the council Boss gross misconduct,promotion of caucuses against the directive of the party ,which led to the inability of the council to properly fund the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)in the local

The legislators further disclosed that the Chairman has continued to deny them attendance of their seminars both locally and internationally ,as well as reckless spending of resources not allocated or approved by them

They also accused the council Boss of working against the interest of the party by sponsoring needless protests and press conferences against the party ,invariably making the party unpopular in the council area,and that the council chairman sponsored touts and hoodlums against the party ,which has led to serious division in the party ,which may affect the party in the forthcoming local government elections as he has refused the accept the candidates of the party

The legislators posited that with the above mentioned infractions committed by Engr David Famuyiwa,they are passing the vote of no confidence on him and will proceed with impeachment notice against him

At the plenary on Wednesday,all the Councillors supported the move and appended their signature to the notice sent to the court of the house for onward transmission to the council Boss

Copies of the resolution were dispatched to the state Chairman of the party, local government Chairman , state Assembly and the G-14 leaders of the LCDA

Efforts to get the reaction of the council chairman proved abortive as calls to his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Mosunmola Olabige proved abortive as she failed to pick her calls
