Rosemary Olayemi Oshoffa
It is no longer news that Honourable Rosemary Olayemi Oshoffa fondly called LAROSH, has officially declared her intention to contest as councilor in Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area LCDA under the ruling All Progressives Congress Party (APC) to challenge the incumbent councillor in Ward C.
The decision of LAROSH, a grassroot politician to join the councilorship race in Ikosi-Isheri was borne out of the pressure she got from her ward who so much believed in her as a reliable politician.
In an interview with this medium and Oshoffa after she purchased APC party nomination form, she shared her intention and her chances of winning the primary to becoming the party’s flag bearer come May 10, 2025.
“My name is a household name in Ikosi isheri as a whole, it’s a name that can be relied on when it comes to service to humanity. I can’t withstand the pressure that is coming from my ward , hence the reason that made me go for a nomination form.
“I am very confident of my victory at the poll ,I have everything to win at the primary. Am out to challenge the incumbent. I want to promise the people of my ward to calm down,I am all out for them to allay their fears.
“I want to challenge the incumbent, I want to show the strength I have as a community woman,
I am fearless and unapologetic.
” I am assuring the people of my ward that they should expect good governance and fair representation prior to what they have been experiencing.
“My coming out is going to make a great statement to the stakeholders and the leadership of my ward. I am out to change the narrative about women’s participation, I am out to change the narrative about imposing and selection. My ambition is God’s project”.
