Kosofe Local Government has extended its palliative distribution efforts to over 500 widows and elderly women at the Local Government Secretariat today. In response to the ongoing economic challenges, this initiative brought immense joy to thousands of beneficiaries earlier today.

The Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, Barr. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, represented by the Chief of Staff, Hon. Akinyemi Abiona, reaffirmed the Chairman’s commitment to supporting the needy within the council area. He emphasized the importance of providing essential items and relief to residents during these difficult times.

The initiative, established under the Kosofe Food Bank, aims to bring relief and happiness to residents across all seven wards. The Chairman also pledged to continue the gesture in the coming months to ensure that more people benefit from the programme.

Beneficiaries at the event expressed their heartfelt gratitude and joy, offering prayers for the continued success of the Chairman and the council.
