
The Bakery Initiatives Nigeria, yesterday provided some essential tools and materials to beneficiaries within Agboyi-Ketu for starting their own bakery businesses.
This initiative was executed in collaboration with the Agboyi-Ketu LCDA, ensuring that participants receive not only training but also practical resources to launch their ventures successfully.Some weeks after mentoring participants on basic baking techniques, business management and other baking skills, the NGO, upon completion of the exercise, provided the beneficiaries with some baking equipment and materials like: show glasses, gas cylinders, frying pan, apron, flour, sugar, groundnut oil, among other things.
The Mayor Dele Osinowo led administration, which is keen on improving the living standards of the Agboyi-Ketu grassroot, supported the initiative as it believes that in starting their own businesses, beneficiaries can achieve financial independence and contribute to the local economy.
Hence, the essence of collaborating with Baking Initiative Nigeria to foster entrepreneurship within the community, which would potentially lead to job creation and improved livelihoods among the people.
