The sixth leader of the legislative arm of Ikosi-isheri LCDA Honourable Ismaila Olamilekan Onikosi on behalf of other councillors from the seven wards in the LCDA, promised to give their unflinching support to the council Chairman so she can land more landmark projects in her second term.
Newsconnect reports that the council leader among other things expressed gratitude to Princess Samiat Bada and promised to collaborate with her to bring dividend of democracy to the good people of Ikosi-isheri.
Meanwhile, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada has also emerged as the Vice Chairman, Lagos East of Lagos Conference 57.
Hon. Ismaila Olamilekan Onikosi has emerged as the Leader of the 6th Legislative Arm, Hon. Deji Osinowo – Deputy Leader, Hon. Gbadegoke Adekoya – Majority Leader, Hon. Mustapha Raji – Chief Whip.
In her inaugural address, Princess Bada thanked Almighty Allah for the opportunity to serve the people of Ikosi-Isheri once again.
She extended her heartfelt appreciation to the people, her family, the All Progressives Congress (APC), elders, leaders, stakeholders, youths, women, and every single voter who stood firmly with her. Princess Bada emphasized that the victory was not hers alone but a collective triumph for the people of Ikosi-Isheri. She acknowledged the trust placed in her and promised to work tirelessly for the betterment of the council.
In her words, she said;
“First and foremost i return glory to almighty God. This is not just my victory, this is our victory. You have entrusted us again with this mandate for the second term.
“We will invest more on health, we will empower youth, support our women and the aged.
“I thank the good people of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA for their continued trust and support. The best reward for a good job is to do more, and I assure you—I will not stop. Together, we will take our community to greater heights.”
The Councilor representing Ward A is Honourable Olayemi Ogunbadejo, councilor representing Ward B is Ayoola Shobanke, and councilor representing Ward C is Omotayo Osinowo, Councilor representing ward D is Ismaila Olamilekan, councilor representing ward E is Gbadegoke Aderogba, Ward F councilor is Mustapha Raji while Ward G councilor is Muyibat Balogun.
