
The indomitable APA/MATH campaign train moved en masse to Odogunyan Ward E1, the home of the Vice Chairmanship candidate, Hon.Mathew Aliu Adesanya.The candidates were warmly received by party members, supporters, and admirers of our great party the All Progressives Congress APC at the old APC Party Secretariat, where leaders of The Mandate Movement (TMM), party faithful and community members had gathered to welcome the party’s flag bearers.
The party faithfuls and admirers were in joyful mood to receive the candidates and pledged their unwavering support to ensure victory at the polls.
Addressing the mammoth crowd, the Director General of the APA/MATH Campaign Organisation, Hon.Wale Olowolagba, presented the Chairmanship candidate, Hon.Ameen Olawale Ibrahim Apanishile, his running mate, Hon.Mathew Aliu Adesanya and other Councilorship candidates to the party faithful and supporters.
In his remarks, former LGA Party Chairman Hon.Abiodun Iyiola commended party members for their steadfast support and expressed admiration for the calibre of candidates. He assured the party of his full commitment to its ideals and success.
The pioneer Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, Prince Kunle Ogunbela, also expressed his gratitude and gave strong assurance of APC’s victory in the upcoming elections.
The Chairmanship candidate, Hon.Apanishile, in his address, thanked the ward leadership and party members for their warm reception. He promised an all-inclusive administration if elected and emphasized his commitment to a system-based approach to governance where community input will directly shape his policies. He urged party members to mobilise and canvass for more vote in the coming election.
The event was filled with fanfare, highlighted by melodious tunes from the APA Babes and the women’s wing of the party.
The Campaign train thereafter moved to Ward B3, where they met with the Agbala Youth. Speaking on behalf of the youths, Comrade Abayomi Peter, the President of the youth group, thanked the campaign team for recognising the critical role of youth in community development. He emphasized the importance of youth inclusion in the incoming administration and pledged the group’s full support in mobilizing votes for the APC ahead of the July 12 local government elections.
In response, Hon.Apanishile reaffirmed his commitment to youth inclusion and promised to implement youth-friendly policies when elected.
The APA/MATH Campaign Organisation also acknowledged the presence and support of Ward Chairman Hon.Adeleke Adigun, the host Councilor, Hon.Bola Daramola, Hon.Adewusi, Director women, South-south leaders, youth leaders and the entire campaign committee for their solidarity and commitment to the success of the Chairmanship candidate.
