In the spirit of sportsmanship and the best interest of Ikorodu Local Government, I write to announce my withdrawal from the Chairmanship race of Ikorodu Local Government to support my brother, Honourable AbdulLateef Abayomi Ladega, to deliver his Prosperity For All agenda for Indigenes and residents of Ikorodu Local Government.
After a careful analysis of the personality of Honourable Abayomi Ladega, I have discovered he sufficiently posses the qualities required to take our dear Local Government to the next level which is what we all crave for.
If we already found someone with the right attitude, character, dream, plans and vision for Ikorodu, I think what is needed is for us to key into his vision and support him to bring about a more prosperous future for our dear hometown Ikorodu.
I want to assure my teeming supporters home and abroad that I have given this a careful thought and have thus decided this is in the best interest of Ikorodu.
I am sincerely grateful to everyone who truly believed in me. The love, energy and passion was massive and I do not take them for granted.
I urge you all to keep faith with my brother Abayomi Ladega and support him to emerge as the candidate of our party in the coming local government elections.
A greater Ikorodu is in the offing
