In a bid to eradicate Starvation in Kosofe and it’s surrounding environment, the Kosofe Local Government led by its Executive Chairman, Barrister Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe began the allocation of palliatives to 1000 individuals in Ojota, Ogudu, Oworonsoki, Mende and Anthony Respectively.
The October Edition of the Food Bank initiative still focuses on the Eradication of hunger and economic hardship, bringing relief and ease the burden of high cost of living during these difficult times.
Since his Resumption into office, the Ogunlewe Administration has made food security a top priority, introducing the Kosofe Food Bank to distribute vital provisions and alleviate hunger in Kosofe Local Government.
However, this effort made by the Council Chairman showcases his dedication to understand and address the pressing needs of his constituents, providing timely solutions to their immediate concerns and working towards long-term, sustainable solutions to their social welfare requirements.
The Council Chairman who was present at the Local Government Secretariat, ensured a fair distribution of food items to those in need and also used the medium to emphasize the importance of trust in his administration, promising to swiftly address any concerns and provide ongoing support to eradicate the widespread of hardships faced by Nigerians.As part of his ongoing commitment, Barrister Ogunlewe pledged that the monthly distribution of food palliative will be a standard practice.With profound appreciation, the allocatees accepted their food packages and expressed their sincere gratitude to the Council Chairman, hoping for sustainable assistance in the nearest future.
