Kosofe Local Government Area was electrified with jubilant celebration as the All Progressives Congress (APC) formally unveiled and presented party flags to its duly nominated councillorship candidates ahead of the highly anticipated July 12, 2025, local government elections. The presentation ceremony, which took place today at Emmanuel High School, Ojota, Lagos, drew party leaders, stakeholders, and an enthusiastic crowd of supporters in a vibrant display of unity and grassroots mobilisation.
Amidst the political momentum and heightened enthusiasm from party faithful and grassroots supporters, Honourable Sanni Ganiyu Babatunde Okanlawon, Member representing Kosofe Constituency 01 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, extended his profound congratulations to the candidates, describing the event as a politically significant milestone and a strategic step toward deepening democratic consolidation and reaffirming APC’s dominance at the ward level.
In a strongly worded statement, Hon.
