The Deputy Chief Whip of the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing BADAGARY Consistency 2, Honourable Setonji David emphasized the importance of food production for a sustainable future urging his constituents to focus on agricultural development.
He provided this thought-provoking advice in an exclusive interview with national and local media houses in Nigeria.

“With the economy at hand, food security will go a long way. As youths and family units, I want to encourage us to consider agriculture. Personally, I have farmland and on occasions, I go there to till the ground with my people. So to those of us who have land advantage, let us utilize it for farming. Let’s plant something”.
“Constituents should start to practice private farming. These things don’t take time. And collectively, we will have food banks for our families, the state and by extension, the nation at large”. Honourable David added.
