The Former President Of Nigeria, Muhammad Buhari, has extended his sympathy to the Group Chief Executive Officer, Nigeria National Petroleum Commission, Mele Kyari, following the devastating loss of his daughter, Fatima .
It was reported that Fatima passed away on Friday, after battling with a prolonged illness at age 25.
In a statement released through his spokesperson , Garba Shehu, the former president expressed profound shock and heartfelt condolences to the grieving family, describing the deceased as a beloved and cherished individual amongst her family and friends.
According to him, “I am shocked and deeply pained to learn about the passing away of your daughter, Fatima.
“It is very painful to accept that she has left the world at such a tender age, but Allah, who gave her to you, knows best. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences are with your family in this hour of intense grief”. the former president added.
