In addressing the concerns of some people in Lagos-East Senatorial District as it relates to whether the interventions of Senator Adetokunbo Abiru since he assumed the senatorial seat in Abuja had been inclusive or not, stakeholders in the axis gave different remarks that are pleasing and inspiring that obviously would make him to keep doing good.

Newsconnect reports that among the stakeholders who spoke at the constituency office when he gave food palliatives to 12000 households across the senatorial district, were the former Deputy Governor and APC apex leader in Ikorodu Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, Former Head of Service Otunba Segun Ogunlewe, APC Lagos State Youth Leader Dr Muritala Seriki, Iyaloja General Ikorodu Division Chief Mrs Busola Isikalu at different times gave soothing remarks about what Senator Abiru has done.

Iyaloja general of Ikorodu Division in her goodwill message at the event said;

“He is like a father to us. He is the first senator that never took us for granted. he is about to give market women some money for trading.

“Just as you don’t want us to go hungry ,you will never go hungry. She scored the Senator 99 percent.

“I want to say thank your for all you are doing for the constituents. Senator is helping to promote the party APC with his intervention.

“He is bridging the gap of party challenges. God will strengthen him to continue to do more”.

Former Head of Service Otunba Segun Ogunlewe in his remark said i must also thank our Senator on Agunsoye road.

“That is where my mother came from. The road is a big deal. The senator had been trying, God will continue to uplift him . We thank you greatly for the good work you are doing”. He said

Prince Adio Jamiu Saka showed gratitude on behalf of Ikorodu West and Ikorodu Division and the Abiru Family.

“We are here to say thank you. I want to thank him on behalf of Abiru family. You are a model to us, you have not dissapointed us.

“His intervention is not just to give fish but learning about how to fish. Nobody lights the candle and put it under the cushion.

“The media should go beyond that and propagate All of these works that had been done”.

Former Deputy Governor Prince Ogunleye alluded to the fact established at the event that Senator Abiru doesn’t like show off, he is a performer who loved to maintain low profile.

Senator Tokunbo Abiru said the whole idea is to touch lives of 12,000 constituents across the six local government areas. He said over 3,000 non partisan members from Lagos EaSt got food palliatives ahead Sallah. He said;

“Some of our students after school don’t get jobs. The job in the market now is different. If you are not tech inclined, it will be difficult to get a job.

“The SAIL Lab was established to build the capacity of students in technology so they can be able to apply for and get the jobs that are in the market.

“The minimum of of training is 6 months, and it is free of charge. Which tuition fees costs over 5 million naira. We are training them for free, free internet, no power failure hindering learning. We are not biased with our selection of candidates and applicants, over 2000 students have passed through SAIL Lab, we want our children to be competitive.

“We have organized market women and farmers into coperatives so they can access and judiciously utilize our free interest loan”.
