Flood Assessment
Undeterred by the downpour, the Executive Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Aare Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo (TAT), hit the ground running with a bold, hands-on On-the-Spot Assessment Tour across all six wards—marking a new era of responsive, people-first governance.
From the rugged stretches of Kashimawo Road to the overlooked nooks of Morinatu and Ilufunmi Streets, TAT led from the front—engaging communities, inspecting key projects, and issuing immediate directives aimed at fast-tracking development.
Key Areas Visited:
Anu Oluwa Po Street, Nurudeen Obe, Kashimawo Street, Ailegun Community Hall (Proposed Health Centre), Jakande PHC, Elemu PHC, Balle Afeero, Iya-Alaje, Morning Star PHC, Morning Star Street (Proposed School Site), Ona Iwamimo, Ilufunmi, Morinatu, Dauda Ilo, among others.
Major Directives Issued:
PHCs to go 24/7: Immediate steps to extend operational hours, deploy solar panels, and ensure drug affordability.
Flood Control: Emergency desilting of drainages in Iyana Ejigbo to curb perennial flooding.
Waste Evacuation: Sanitation teams mobilized to Double Power Lines Road with a long-term clean-up and monitoring plan.
This isn’t politics as usual — it’s leadership on foot, powered by vision, empathy, and action. TAT’s administration is clearly setting the tone: development must be visible, inclusive, and people-driven.
