The Nigerian Army has commenced online registration for its 88 Regular Recruit Intake exercise, inviting eligible candidates to apply for trades and non-trades positions. 

The Armed Force however outlined key details for potential applicants which includes ;  application method, basic Requirements, Special notice, Educational qualifications and other guidelines.

According to them , the application portal  is now open and completely free for interested candidates as applicants  are expected to submit only one application  and anything otherwise will lead to disqualification. 

The online registration portal https://recruitment.army.mil.ng is available from September 30 to November 8, 2024. 

The applicants  who are required  to have minimum of four passes in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, including English, in no more than two sittings, must be single ,  a Nigerian citizen by birth with a National Identity Card or NIN slip and BVN . They must also meet medical, physical, and psychological standards and have no criminal convictions .

Meanwhile  tradesmen/women  applicants must also possess TRADES TEST/CITY AND GUILD CERTIFICATE. Details are available on the website.

Regular applicants must be within the range of 18 – 22 years , while tradesmen and women must not be more than 26 years as of 31st December 2024. This is among many other requirements .

The Nigerian Army  also warns that all submitted documents will undergo strict verification with relevant authorities as fake document holders will face police prosecution.
