A comprehensive 3-Day Free Health Mission aimed at providing essential health services commenced on the 23rd, 24th and ended on 26th of October in Agboyi-Ketu Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
Newsconnect reports that this initiative is organised to promote health awareness and encourage preventive health measures within the community, which is paramount to the Mayor Dele Oshinowo led administration in the health sector.
The health mission offered a wide range of free services to the Ajegunle Ward, Agboyi 1,2 and 3 wards, Agidi Oshogun ward within Agboyi-Ketu LCDA.
There was Free Blood Pressure Checks, Free Sugar Level Checks, Weight, Height, and BMI Checks; assessing individual health metrics for better health management, Tuberculosis Screening, Free Drug Distribution, Vaccination Services, such as Immunizations against Yellow Fever, Measles, HPV, and other vital vaccines.According to the Council Mayor, his commitment is to improve the health and well-being of Agboyi-Ketu resident, and ensuring that all community members have access to essential health services.
A total number of 1,209 beneficiaries were recorded to enjoy these invaluable services. The residents commended the Executive Chairman and his formidable team, appreciating the administration’s efforts for the massive positive impacts on the health sector, and the steps towards a healthier community.
