…Distributes free loaf of bread to starlight award participants
The Association of Masters Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria Ikorodu chapter has joined other well wishers in Ikorodu to celebrate Honourable Babajimi Benson, who emerged The man of The Year at Starlight award.
Newsconnect reports Alhaji Bakare Kazeem, the Chairman Association Master Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria , Ikorodu chapter expressed why the association identified with the Federal lawmaker and the significance of their sharing loaf of bread to the participants at the starlight award.
In an interview at the event with the Chairman, Kazeem said;
“We are here to celebrate our man of the year for Ikorodu city Honourable Babajimi Benson for his wonderful performance in our city.
“He has done a lot to put smiles on the faces of our community. During Covid, JB was just distributing items to put smiles on people’s faces.
“The association of Master bakers deem it fit to move in line with this initiative, put smiles on faces of people on recognition of his award to support him anytime, anyday.
“As master bakers, we are challenged with the way the dealers are increasing price anyhow. We seek for his assistance if he can bring flour to Ikorodu so that flour can be very cheap, and will be able to sell cheaper bread for our community.
“We wish that he continues the good work he has started and that almighty God gives him wisdom so that he can achieve more in the coming years”. He said
