The stage is set for the grand finale of the Kosofe Local Government Chairman’s Cup, taking place today at Emmanuel Primary School, Ojota. The prestigious football tournament, featuring teams from all seven wards within the local government area, will commence with curtain-raisers at 7:00 AM.
In a demonstration of commitment to grassroots sports development, the Executive Chairman, Barr Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe, has announced a substantial prize purse for the competition winners. The triumphant team will receive ₦1,000,000, whilst the runners-up and third-placed teams will be awarded ₦500,000 and ₦250,000 respectively.
The tournament, which has showcased exceptional sporting talent across Kosofe’s wards, exemplifies the local government’s dedication to youth engagement and community development through sports.
