The Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC) Committee on an assessment tour to Kosofe Local Government, Yesterday 24th of October 2024, applauded the Executive Chairman, Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe for his giant strides.
Newsconnect reports that the visit intention is to assess the projects and interventions of the Executive Chairman while also soliciting constructive feedback on areas warranting further attention for developmental initiatives.
Barr. Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe in his address outlined the array of projects successfully executed since assuming office, reaffirming his commitment to continuing essential projects as deemed necessary and requested by the people of the area.
Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, who Chaired the GAC Committee also charged stakeholders at the event not to be only praise singers but rather realists who will always present their grievances if any to the Council Chairman.
Newsconnect reports that the Community Development Committee (CDC) Chairman, of the Local Government, Hon Segun Babatunde
commended the Executive Chairman for his benevolence towards all Community Development Associations in the Council Area.
He commended the Chairman’s generosity to widows in the region expressing gratitude for the expeditious distribution of food relief packages and the ongoing provision of complimentary medical screenings for senior citizens.
However, he underscored the necessity for financial support from the State Government for other projects to compliment the efforts of the Council.The germane point raised was acknowledged and endorsed by the Council Chairman, other GAC Members, and Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, who subsequently endorsed the Executive Chairman for a second term.
The event was brought to and end with a vote of thanks by the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Gbadebo Fatai who expressed appreciation to the GAC Committee Members and lauding the Executive Chairman for exceeding expectations in representing the people of the Local Government.
