Somolu Local Government, under Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu ‘Dullar’, announces the fifth phase of its financial intervention, disbursing N50 million to 1,000 petty traders. The disbursement event will take place on Thursday, 24th October 2024, at the Old Somolu Local Government Site, Durosimi Street, starting at 10:00 am.
Hon. Salawu ‘Dullar’ praised Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his people-focused initiatives that have continually uplifted communities. He emphasized the importance of such programmes for sustaining local businesses and supporting livelihoods.
‘Dullar’ also encouraged Nigerians to remain optimistic about President Bola Tinubu’s leadership, assuring that his administration will continue to prioritize the welfare of citizens and foster economic growth.
In the previous four editions, Hon. Salawu ‘Dullar’ successfully distributed N110 million to 4,000 traders in Somolu. This latest round of grants will further strengthen small businesses in the area.
