The Member representing Ikeja constituency 1 at the Lagos State House of Assembly Honourable Prince Seyi Lawal didn’t just gave out Jamb Forms to over 150 beneficiaries from his constituency, he prepared them in a sensitisation session so his intervention for them can be really impactful.

Newsconnect reports that the intervention occured at his constituency office in Irewole street Opebi on the 8th of February 2024.

In an interview with journalists at the event after the sensitisation, Prince Lawal harped on what predicated the intervention and his plans for his constituency going forward.

In his words, he said ;

“I just feel my constituency needs a supportive hand in the area of purchasing Jamb form. Not every students that have the ‘little change’ to purchase the jamb form, as little as it is, some families can’t afford to purchase it. I believe I can do this for them in my constotuey so that many of them will be able to further their education.

“The students who have benefited from this gesture should know who they are and they should be focused. They should read very well.

“Don’t choose a course because your friend choose it, know your capacity, know what you can do. Read well the sky is your starting point

“If you want to be a greater person tomorrow, you want to achieve your aim and objective in the future, then you have to stay away from bad friends.

“I have created a WhatsApp platform to get a feedback from all the beneficiaries of the Jamb form. If they are admitted, we will know through the platform”. He said

Going forward, Prince Lawal promised to engage his constituency on sporting activities. He said even youths that are not academically sound can also benefit from it. The sports he intends to introduce include Football, Draft, Ludo game and ‘Ayo Olopon’.
