In View of Teachers Day Celebration, The Executive Chairman, Ikosi, Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Akogun Wale Raji Anowo expressed his heartfelt appreciation to teachers around the globe, describing Teaching as the Most Noble Profession.

While recognising their efforts, He ascribed the growth and development of the society as well as the prosperity of the nation and Individuals to the hard work of teachers

“Without a teacher, a society cannot grow, a nation cannot flourish and an individual cannot excel, Teachers are the builders of a child’s futuristic achievement and the navigator of a nation’s future outlook. 

Through this medium, he beckoned on students , parents and the wider community at large to shower teachers with exceptional recognition and appreciation on this special day. 

“I also use this medium to call on our students, parents and the community at large to make sure that our teachers feel exceptionally special today, more than every other day”

He  further acknowledged that dedication, passion, hard work and motivation are vital requirements  for the teaching profession.

Mr Wale Raji Highlighted other strong roles and responsibilities   that comes with the  career in which has been  the  bed- rock of  successful knowledgeable individuals the country has produced.

“Apart from the primary  role of imparting knowledge, the many other activities of a teacher plays a pivotal role in equipping youth with necessary skills and traits, ones that enhance communication skills, turns curious and innovative children into successful knowledgeable adults” he added 

“Just like the Lagos state government does not play with issues of teachers, we in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA also value and deeply appreciate your commitment to work and dedication to building a formidable future for our young ones” the Chairman concluded.
