A former Senate Majority Leader who represented  Adamawa South Senatorial District,Jonathan Zwingina, has reportedly passed away.

He was a founding  member of the Peoples Democratic Party (P.D.P) before Moving To All Progressive Congress( APC) and the Director-General of the MKO Abiola campaign Organisation in the June 12, 1993 presidential election.

The news of his  death is  yet to be confirmed by family  members but The  Leadership Newspaper revealed  that the Adamawa State-born politician died on Wednesday, October 2, at the age of 70 in the nation’s capital, Abuja after  he reportedly battled with  protracted illness.
