The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Kosofe Local Branch, has appointed Barrister Moyosore Adedoyin Ogunlewe as its Grand Patron. The appointment took place during a courtesy visit by NYCN leadership to the Executive Chairman’s office on Tuesday, coinciding with the council’s annual youth symposium.

The symposium, held at the Kosofe Local Government Secretariat, centred on the theme “Youth Inclusion: The Need for Local Breeds”. The event featured guest speakers Engr. Adigun Ibrahim Olalekan and Coach Davies Oladimeji Abdullah.

Ogunlewe, who serves as the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, was presented with a commemorative plaque recognising his new role. The appointment aligns with the NYCN’s mission to “Build the Youth, Build the Nation”.

The symposium and patronage appointment underscore efforts to promote youth participation in local governance and development within the Kosofe community.
