In his remarks at the event, he said;
“It is indeed yet another honour that today we will be handing over to our citizens two estates in one. Raymond Estate and Sterling Heights . For people that do not know, this place is called Akanimodo in KETU Ajelogo area of Lagos State. This area several years ago used to be a den of all sorts of anything that can go wrong in a city. All sorts of things you can imagine can go wrong used to happen in this place. Anything you can imagine that can go wrong in a city used to happen all around this environment. It was completely an ungoverned place where all sorts of activities take place.
“The Chairmen that have left before him have set a trajectory, where they’ve reversed what we saw then as liabilities into assets.
“Within a year, he gave us a commitment that Mr Governor, you will come back again and handover new flats and tourists to our citizens and he has kept Fate with those words.
“Today, he gives us a hundred and seventy flats and I say there is no better job for me than to continue to encourage and commend my local government Chairmen and LCDA Chairmen for doing good job.
“On behalf of the people and government of Lagos, I want to publicly thank Mayor of Agboyi-Ketu for showing us that there is proper and true Public accountability. He has shown overtime that Ajelogo, Akanimodo, can be a small banana Island by look and by feel, by finishing and aesthetics.
