Below is the full text of the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government as he declares his intention to run for councillorship position representing Ward A, Oworonshoki.
Declaration of Intent to Run for Councillorship
I, Adekoya Moses Oladimeji, hereby declared my intention to run for the position of Councillor representing Oworonsoki (Kosofe Local Government Ward A) in the forthcoming 2025 local government elections in Lagos State.
As the current Deputy Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government, I have gained valuable insight into the workings of local governance and the needs of our community.
My experience as runner-up in the 2021 APC party primaries has further prepared me for this role and strengthened my resolve to serve our ward.
Throughout my career and public service, I have dedicated myself to community and youth development. I have consistently used my position and personal resources to support community projects like the Oworonshoki Free School program at Loné street oworonshoki, rejuvenation of the basketball team in Oworonshoki by sending balls and other sports item for the young players, collaborating with various NGOs towards bringing welfare items to needy members of the community.
My diverse philanthropic and grassroot efforts spans through Sports,Economy, Arts and Education in Oworonshoki community thereby showing my commitment to the growth and welfare of Oworonsoki residents.
If elected, I pledge to:
- Amplify the voices of our youth and create more opportunities for their growth and development
- Leverage my experience in both the private and public sectors to drive sustainable development in our ward
- Foster transparent and accountable governance
- Work tirelessly to address the pressing needs of Oworonsoki Ward A including but not limited to bad roads and flooding.
I humbly ask for your support and votes in the upcoming election. Together, we can build a brighter future for Oworonsoki.
