The stakeholders and beneficiaries of the six roads network commissioned today 23rd of July 2024 by the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government Barrister Moyosore Ogunlewe have endorsed him to return for second term considering his giant strides in few years across various sectors.
Newsconnect reports that the six roads Ogunlewe commissioned today include Niyi Ogunleye street Ojota, Atiba Osborne street, Alade street, Mende, Frederick Ezewosu street, Odugbesan street Mende, and Abi Street.
Stakeholders and beneficiaries at different intervals from different wards acknowledged the efforts of Barrister Ogunlewe to turn things around in short period of time, they stressed that he needs more term to deliver more dividend of democracy for the people of Kosofe.
In an interview at the Commissionimg, the Patron at Garden Valley GRA Sir Chief Tony Asijie expressed profound gratitude to the Chairman for his kindness and for what he has done for the community. He said the intervention by the Executive Chairman of Kosofe Local Government is unprecedented, and first of his kind.

In his own words, he said;
“He is the first Chairman who remembered us, and decided to come and help us out may God help him too.
“Over fourty years when I found this place, I compare the environment now with the environment then and I feel very happy that am still alive to be part of history.
“For this we will continue to be grateful to you. Moyo I want you to help us connect the remaining roads, we shall be more grateful”. He said.
APC LGA Chairman in Kosofe Alhaji Kehinde Bello said unprecedented intervention in a short space of time since the establishment of Kosofe Local Government has never happened, he feels glad to be part of the auspicious occasion as a Political leader in the axis.
In his words in an interview with Newsconnect, he said;
“First time we are enjoying the dividend of democracy. We are very happy with his work, he has promised to do more. He has done very well, his second term is well assured.
“Under three years, he performed very well, a blind man can easily see it. He has constructed 36 roads, provided transformers, when it comes to election, I appeal to electorates to vote for APC and also vote for Moyosore Ogunlewe he is going to do more than what he is doing right now, I can assure you of that”. Bello said.
Concerning road maintenance, Chairman told journalists that the councilors and the CDA will be held responsible if anything goes wrong with the road.
“For me, mine is to give back to the society, i’m doing my best and I will keep doing my best”. He said
Ogunlewe on Wednesday 24th of July will commission road, distribute transformers to some communities in Kosofe to continue the activities earmarked to commemorate his three years in office. He will commission Mosafejo Primary School in Oworonshoki on Thursday. At the grand finale on Friday, Ogunlewe will be launching 11 new roads across the seven wards which are slated to complete before the end of the year.
