In bid to  stimulate the natural entrepreneurial spirit of Nigerians and empower more citizens to be self- reliant, the Federal Government on Monday commenced taking applications from  artisans, trainees and technicians who are interested in getting a cash grant of #500,000 (Five hundred thousand naira) to support their enterprise.

The Office of the Senior Special Adviser to the President on Technical, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Education (SSATVEE) which is in charge of the grant, said application is opened to Nigerian Youths between the ages of 18 and 40 years.

A statement issued by the National Orientation Agency (NOA) to announce the application window, said the grant will also come with startup toolkits to enhance the winning artisans achieve more in thier trades.

The NOA said the programme is in furtherance of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. “The office of the senior special adviser to the president on technical vocational and entrepreneurship education presents N500,000 cash grants with startup tool kits also up for grabs,” the agency said.
