Below is the message of the Executive Chairman of KOSOFE to Muslims in Kosofe and environs on Eid-el-Adha.
Dear People of Kosofe Local Government,
On this blessed Eid-el-Adha, I extend heartfelt felicitations to you all. As we commemorate the noble sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), let us imbibe the virtues of devotion and selflessness embodied in Allah’s words: “Their meat will not reach Allah, nor will their blood, but what reaches Him is piety from you.” (Quran 22:37)
This Eid reminds us to foster unity, compassion and service to humanity within our community. May the lessons of sacrifice and obedience inspire us to be law-abiding citizens contributing to Kosofe’s development, as the Quran states: “O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you…” (4:59)
I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants our local government area abundant peace, prosperity and joy on this festive occasion.
