Moyo Ogunlewe’s campaign for re-election is gaining significant traction, with endorsements pouring in from both within and outside our great political party – APC. On Tuesday, leaders and stakeholders of APC Ward D visited his office to formally endorse his bid for a second term. Later that day, the Lagos State Council of Tradesmen and Artisans (LASCOTA) Kosofe Chapter, under the leadership of Deacon Lérè Atanda also threw their weight behind Ogunlewe’s re-election campaign.
These endorsements, particularly that of LASCOTA, highlight Ogunlewe’s broad appeal beyond just his party loyalists. LASCOTA’s backing suggests that a major segment of the Kosofe population, comprising tradesmen and artisans who are integral to the fabric of society are solidly behind his candidacy. With such diverse support, his re-election prospects appear increasingly promising as the campaign season unfolds.
