This remarkable cardless POS transaction occurs through a process that utilizes your thumbprint and involves just four simple steps:
1. Merchant selects ‘pay with fingerprint’ on the home screen of their POS machine.
2. Merchant enters the amount and then customer provides an 11-digit phone number.
3. Customer selects either the right thumb or left thumb and places the selected thumb on the fingerprint reader.
4. Upon successful completion, the merchant gives the customer a transaction receipt as confirmation. Voila! The customer goes away excited with cash.
