“Be Phone Smart”: NCC Recommends Strategies As Streaming Content Instead Of Downloading It

On its Official Facebook Page, the NCC recently shared some valuable tips for Nigerian telecom consumers, urging them to “Be Phone Smart.”
One important tip highlighted by the Commission is to avoid entertaining unknown callers who refuse to introduce themselves, emphasizing the importance of being security conscious.
Furthermore, the NCC pointed out that certain activities on phones can quickly deplete data. To help subscribers avoid unnecessary data usage, the Commission recommends strategies such as streaming content instead of downloading it. As they put it, “Do you know… stream it, don’t download it!”
