Chief Samuel Omotosho Aina

With a heavy heart, I received the sad news of the passing of our Apex Leader of Oshodi-Isolo APC, Chief Samuel Omotosho Aina, who transited to glory today 22nd September, 2025 after a protracted illness.

Chief Aina was a gentle and kind-hearted leader, a lover of peace, and a true believer in development. His sterling service to our dear Local Government as the Executive Chairman under the Alliance for Democracy at the dawn of the Fourth Republic in 1998 remains indelible.

The landmark project he initiated, the present edifice that houses the Local Government Secretariat stands tall as a testimony to his vision, foresight, and enduring legacy.

On behalf of my family and the good people of Oshodi-Isolo Constituency-01, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Aina family, his political associates, and the entire Oshodi-Isolo community. May the Almighty grant his soul eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear this great loss.

Chief Aina will be remembered not only as a politician but also as a father-figure whose leadership and humility inspired many within and outside our political family. His departure is a painful one, but his legacy lives on.

Adieu, great leader.

E-Signed
Hon. Ogundipe Stephen Olukayode (OMOJ’OMOLO)
Member, Lagos State House of Assembly Oshodi-Isolo Constituency-01
