The Technical Manager of Rivers United Finidi George has expressed concerns over the performance of his team against shootings star despite winning the game with 1-0.
Newsconnect reports that Finidi in his post-match presser said he is not quite happy with the conduct of his players on the pitch, that they were too much in a hurry.
In his words, he said;
“First and foremost we are happy with 3 points. But I am not quite happy, I have to be honest.
“We are too much in a hurry, too many mistakes, I didn’t see my team in one moment that I could say we are in total control. I don’t know the reason for that.
“We are going to have our host match meeting, so that they can speak and know what really transpired.
“As we are looking at the game from the outside, it didn’t seem too favorable for us, we struggled. For me is one of our worst game since i joined Rivers United.
“We have to be better in all aspects of the game so we’ll look into that and see where we can make improvement”. He said
